Energy Saving Week – 20 ~ 26 Oct.
Posted by: admin : Category: Uncategorized
Engergy Saving Week, it also means, daylight saving this weekend; woohoo, an extra hour of sleep surely won’t hurt.
For those of you who don’t know, Energy Saving Week is a programme promoting a series of energy saving actions in the household across UK, by the Energy Saving Trust. Now, here are my picks of some great tips they have for us.
- Lights: this goes without saying, always switch off the light before you leave a room.
- Toilet: Who needs a full flush everytime? Put a water displacement device in the toilet cistern is a simple way to save water
- Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!!
- Last, this is from personal experience, having a proper double-glazed window not only blocks out the noisy traffic, but can save energy lost through the windows. Sounds too hard to believe right?! Try it for yourself this winter.
So don’t forget to sleep-in on Sunday, and do your bit of energy saving around the house!
